Management & Business

Toyota Boshoku Corporation (Headquarters: Karita-shi, Aichi, Japan; President: Masanao Motonami) and its affiliated company Araco Kyushu (Headquarters: Kanzaki-machi, Kanzaki-gun, Saga; President: Kazunori Yamakawa. Araco Kyushu was established in 1991 and manufactures Toyota Harrier and Kluger seats and door trim. In order to handle increases in production levels at Toyota Motor Kyushu, it has been decided that a new factory with a floor space of 10,000m2 will be established at Miyata-machi. Beginning in summer 2005, the new factory will carry out the parts preparation work for seats to be manufactured at the Araco Kyushu Headquarters Plant, as well as the molding and assembly of the door trim and air filters.

Toyota Boshoku is the result of the October 2004 merger of Toyoda Boshoku, Takanichi and Araco's automotive interior division, and it has manufacturing bases for such interior components as seats and door trim, filtration and power train components, and fabrics at 20 different locations in Japan.
