  • In fiscal 2023 the Toyota Boshoku Group was not subject to any fines resulting from environmental accidents or violations of environmental regulations.
  • The values for energy are arrived at by multiplying the units of energy generation by the quantity of the various fuels used. Determination of units of energy generation is done with use of coefficients laid out by Laws and Regulations Concerning Rationalization of Energy Usage and Related Issues published by the Japanese government)
  • Until the end of fiscal 2022 calculations solely made use of data from Toyota Boshoku. Since fiscal 2023, however, calculations make use of data from the entire Toyota Boshoku Group.
  • In fiscal 2023 changes were made to the scope of data collected. Additionally, calculations now make use of data for fuel used by Toyota Boshoku Group vehicles.
  • The value for total waste listed here includes waste connected to automotive parts production. Including construction waste from subsidiaries, the value for total waste is: 28,244 t.
