Motor Core Constituent Parts (For Hybrid System)
The motor core is the heart of the motor, and consists of two components: a rotor and a stator. These two components are composed of laminated thin stamped sheets.
Higher precision and faster production have been made possible thanks to Toyota Boshoku's exceptional precision stamping process techniques.
Fuel cell part products
Configuration of fuel cell vehicle
Fuel cells produce energy from electric power generated by chemical reactions between hydrogen and oxygen.
Fuel cells produce energy from electric power generated by chemical reactions between hydrogen and oxygen. Numerous separators are stacked up in this electricity-generating device (the fuel cell stack) in order to generate a large amount of energy. Separators are sheets that serve as channels for hydrogen, oxygen, and coolant. Producing the small channels that allow uniform flow of hydrogen, oxygen, and coolant requires extremely precise stamping techniques.
Air Filter for Fuel Cell Vehicles
A highly-efficient PM 2.5 air filter to realize Toyota Motor Corporation's new concept of Minus Emissions: The more you drive the cleaner the air is. Addition of electrostatic charging to Toyota Boshoku's conventional particulate filters results in highly efficient PM 2.5-level filtering, while incorporating an adsorbent-coated chemical filter provides highly efficient removal of SO2, NO2, and NH3, the three main precursor gasses responsible in generating PM 2.5 pollution.
The ion exchanger keeps coolant conductivity low, and maintains both electrical insulation and the efficiency of power generation. Using high-performance ion exchange resin contributes to a reduction of both size and weight of components.
