Kariya (Japan) September 21, 2023 - Toyota Boshoku Corporation has developed seats and interiors that offer a high-quality, comfortable ride and are to be featured in the new Century models announced this month by Toyota Motor Corporation.

1. Seat
1)Rear seats with ability to fully recline
The front passenger and second row seats are slid forward to create space for an ottoman extension and fully reclined back position (up to 77 degrees of recline), Toyota Boshoku measurement) to provide a relaxing interior environment. The seats also feature massage, heat and ventilation functions, along with other comfort features.

2)Seat trim decoration and styling inspired by traditional Japanese Suganui embroidery technique (a Toyota first).
The embroidery pattern featured is inspired by Suganui, which is a traditional Japanese embroidery technique used to add luster and depth to kimono designs. The pattern used on the seats is simple yet deep with a matching pattern on the door trim.

2. Interior
1)LED color illumination
The panoramic roof and door sides are adorned with LED color illumination to produce soft bands of light. The outline of the panoramic roof features line-styled illumination with matching gentle curves of illumination on the door trim, both of which contribute to creating a high-quality sophisticated atmosphere.
2)Swivel storable table
There is a large retractable table stowed in the armrest between the rear seats that can be swiveled out for use and also stored when not in use. The table can also be rotated to a vertical position making it easy to get in and out of the vehicle even when the table is deployed.
