Kariya (Japan) April 2, 2026 - Toyota Boshoku Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Toyota Boshoku," including its subsidiaries) has acquired all shares (equity interests) in four overseas production companies jointly established with DENSO Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "DENSO," including its subsidiaries), thereby making them wholly owned subsidiaries of Toyota Boshoku.
Production of DENSO-branded products at these companies will continue as before.
The four overseas joint ventures being fully acquired primarily manufacture filter-related components, which are supplied to regional bases of automotive manufacturers, including Toyota Motor Corporation.
As the automotive industry undergoes a period of transformation, driven by electrification, diversification of fuel sources, and varying energy conditions across regions and existing vehicle needs, a wide range of powertrains and related technologies are required. Demand for filter-related components, including replacement parts, is expected to remain steady in response to these evolving needs.
In addition, by strengthening Toyota Boshoku's future-oriented initiatives, we aim to enhance our agility and strategic execution capabilities in response to the multi-pathway evolution of the automotive industry, including electrification and fuel diversification.
Furthermore, among the four joint ventures, TBDN Tennessee Company, LLC has been renamed TOYOTA BOSHOKU JACKSON TENNESSEE, LLC as of December 1st, 2025.
