Production of Automobile Seats Begins in Russia

Preparation for the production of automobile seats has now been completed at Toyota Boshoku Corporation's (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi, Japan; President: Shuhei Toyoda) subsidiary company in Russia, Toyota Boshoku Russia (Saint Petersburg, Russia). Production and delivery have begun to Toyota Motor Corporation's Russian subsidiary, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Russia LLC. (hereinafter TMMR).
Toyota Boshoku Russia expects to produce around 20,000 seats per year for the Camry in the TMMR factory.
For Toyota Boshoku, this project in Russia is one of the most important projects in its European strategy. We believe that this will secure an optimal production system in regions worldwide.
