Toyota Boshoku establishes a new company to produce automotive interior parts in Kentucky, USA

Toyota Boshoku Corporation (Global Mainstay Hub: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, President & CEO: Masayoshi Shirayanagi) will establish a new company, TOYOTA BOSHOKU WESTERN KENTUCKY, LLC., in Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky, USA, to produce automotive interior parts.
By in-house manufacturing of seat frame mechanism parts, for which demand is expected to increase in the future, we aim to strengthen our competitiveness in the region.
The new company will be invested by Toyota Boshoku America, Inc. (Kentucky, USA, hereinafter referred to as "TBA"), the regional headquarters for the Americas, wholly owned by Toyota Boshoku, and is scheduled to start operation in 2025. The plant will be located at the center of TBA's bases in USA and will supply seat frame mechanism parts such as seat tracks and seat recliners.
