Grand Opening Ceremony of the Second Plant of Toyota Boshoku Turkey

Toyota Boshoku Corporation (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi, Japan; President: Shuhei Toyoda) and Mitsui Bussan Automotive Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President: Teruyuki Higashi) held a Grand Opening Ceremony for the Second Plant of Toyota Boshoku Turkiye Otomotive Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. (Headquarters: Adapazari, Turkey, hereinafter referred to as TBT), a joint-venture of both companies in the Republic of Turkey, at the site of the Plant on 3rd July, 2007.
The ceremony was attended by Minister Ali Cos,kun, Ministry of Industry and Trade; Governor Huseyin Atak, Sakarya; Mayor Aziz Duran, Adapazari Metropolitan City; Mayor Suleyman Disli, Adapazari City; President Tamer Unlu, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey Inc.; Chairman Junichi Yoshikawa, Toyota Boshoku Corporation; and President Teruyuki Higashi, Mitsui Bussan Automotive Inc.
The new plant is the first base, of the Toyota Boshoku Group plants in Europe and Turkey, that manufactures seat frames and functional parts from January 2007. These products from Plant No. 2 are supplied to Plant No. 1 in Turkey and to Toyota Boshoku South Africa (Pty) Ltd. (Kwazulunatal, South Africa).
