Toyota Boshoku Corporation has submitted the commitment letter to SBTi*, an organization that certifies greenhouse gas emission reduction targets--called Science Based Targets (SBT)--of the same levels as in the Paris Agreement, and has made a commitment to working toward obtaining the SBT certification.
Based on its corporate philosophy to promote corporate activities that help protect the global environment, the Toyota Boshoku group makes collective efforts to contribute to preserving the global environment in order to realize a sustainable society. We formulated our 2050 Environmental Vision in 2016 and since then have been working to solve environmental issues in six main categories. We will continue to actively work toward achieving carbon neutrality.
