As announced on July 28, 2023, TOYOTA BOSHOKU ASIA CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as TBAS), a subsidiary of Toyota Boshoku Corporation, acquired 80% of the shares of PT. SHIROKI INDONESIA (hereinafter referred to as SID) from Aisin Shiroki Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Aisin Shiroki) on November 1, 2023, making SID a subsidiary of TBAS. The procedures for changing SID's name have now been completed, and the company name has been changed to PT. TOYOTA BOSHOKU DEVICE INDONESIA as of January 1, 2025.
A ceremony was held for PT. TOYOTA BOSHOKU DEVICE INDONESIA on January 8, 2025, to mark the name change.
We intend to further strengthen the competitiveness of Toyota Boshoku group by utilizing the manufacturing know-how that PT. TOYOTA BOSHOKU DEVICE INDONESIA has accumulated through the production of seat frame mechanical parts such as seat recliners and seat slides.
