About consultation / reporting
The Consultation/Reporting Desk is a channel through which we receive consultations and reports regarding such matters as compliance and human rights from business partners of the Toyota Boshoku Group.
Who can use the Desk
Those who work for companies that have direct business dealings with the Toyota Boshoku Group
What you can consult / report
- Any acts by executives or employees of the Toyota Boshoku Group that violate (or may violate) its corporate philosophy, human rights policy, Supplier Sustainability Guidelines, or the like
- Violations of laws and regulations, such as the Japanese Subcontract Law or the Antitrust Law, or other compliance violations (or acts that may be suspected of compliance violations) by the Group’s executives or employees
- Please refrain from consulting on or reporting the following matters:
- Problems at the company you work for or personal issues unrelated to our company (e.g. : divorce, debts, and traffic accidents)
- Reports that are false or have wrongful purposes, such as accusations, defamations, threats, or obstruction of business (hereinafter, "Reporting for Wrongful Purposes")

Points to note
- When consulting/reporting, please provide the help desk (Outside Counsel) with your place of employment, name, contact information, and factual details as specific as possible.
- Any information provided to the desk will be shared in confidence by the Outside Counsel with relevant department(s) at Toyota Boshoku.
You can consult with Outside Counsels regarding what information should be provided to Toyota Boshoku (such as parts of the provided information that should be concealed). - Facts in your consultation/report and other information provided will be used only for the purpose of dealing with such consultation/report and will not be used without your consent for any purpose other than the above-mentioned purpose. In addition, such facts and information will not be provided to any third party other than the parties involved.
- The Toyota Boshoku Group prohibits any disadvantageous treatment of people who consult or report to the help desk as a result of doing so.
- Any matters consulted/reported will be fact-checked, investigated, etc. and handled in an appropriate manner. However, depending on the content of the report (such as Reporting for Wrongful Purposes), we may not be able to respond.
- We may ask for your cooperation in verifying facts or conducting investigations.
- Depending on the details of your consultation/report, it may take some time for us to respond.
- Please make sure that your report does not include any confidential information, such as trade secrets of your company, or information for which your company is bound by a confidentiality obligation from a third party other than our company.
