As a TBA Supplier Partner, it is important that you speak up if you witness or hear of any unethical behavior. Report actual or suspected violations of TBA's Code of Conduct or the law to our EthicsPoint Hotline. This Hotline is managed by an independent third-party provider. TBA takes human rights violations very seriously. Forced labour and child labour are severe violations of human rights which affect millions of people in all countries and in all economic sectors. Such labour is rooted in poverty, discrimination and a lack of social protection and it disrupts fair competition between businesses. Forced labour and child labour risks are primarily located in the global supply chains of businesses.

Canada has introduced the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (the “Act”) to increase industry awareness and transparency and drive businesses to improve practices. Entities and government institutions doing business in Canada have a responsibility to ensure that exploitative practices are addressed and eradicated from their supply chains. In compliance with the Act, Toyota Boshoku America Group Companies (Toyota Boshoku America, Inc., Toyota Boshoku Canada, Inc., and Toyota Boshoku Indiana, LLC) prepared the following Joint Report summarizing the steps taken to prevent and reduce the risk of forced labour or child labour being used across its supply chain for goods imported into Canada.
