Toyota Boshoku, originated as Toyoda Boshoku Corporation and was founded in 1918, is a global leading supplier of car seats, interior components and a manufacturer of filters and powertrain components. Currently, Toyota Boshoku has 93 group companies and offices around the world and officially came to China in 1995. It has successively established 12 production entities in cities throughout China including Tianjin and Guangzhou. TBCH provides high quality products and technical services to world-class car manufacturers such as Toyota Motor Corporation and Shanghai GM.

During its more than ten years of development in China, TBCH has been participating in activities to contribute to and benefit society through such initiatives as tree planting and donations towards reforestation. In order to cultivate professionals who are helping to develop China’s automotive and automotive parts industries and to contribute to local development through the nurturing of talent, TBCH signed an agreement with the School of Mechanical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The Toyota Boshoku Scholarship program offers funds to bachelors, masters and doctors studying at the School of Mechanical Engineering with significant academic achievements and high principles. At the same time, the Toyota Boshoku Teaching award was also established to recognize teachers who excel in teaching and management skills.

TBCH will also take some of the students and teachers of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University to visit its R&D center soon. At that time, activities such as seminars for the students will allow them to exchange ideas with engineers working at the R&D center. These actions embody our idea of cultivating talent and providing multi-layer platforms in various forms to encourage the development of exceptional talent.

TBCH will continue to organize such activities in the future to contribute to society, to become deeply rooted in China, become a good corporate citizen and to make modest contributions to the development of China’s auto industry and social development.
