Toyota Boshoku China held annual tree planting activities in Mongolia

Shanghai (China) May 27, 2013- Toyota Boshoku (China) Co. Ltd., in cooperation with the China Green Foundation, organized and held the “TB Oasis Project” on May 25th. A total of more than 30 volunteers from Toyota Boshoku group subsidiaries in China went to Alashan, Inner Mongolia and participated in Voluntary Tree Planting. Approximately 300 trees were planted under the leadership of Zhuang Zhiqiang, Vice President of Toyota Boshoku (China).

As a world-class automotive component supplier Toyota Boshoku is dedicated to society and the environment. In 2004 Toyota Boshoku established and implemented the “Toyota Boshoku Earth Charter” with the aim of providing users with green products over the long-term through R&D, production, sales and other functions. To put the Charter into practice, Toyota Boshoku group subsidiaries in China have carried out a variety of environmental activities to support social sustainable development.

In collaboration with the China Green Foundation, Toyota Boshoku (China) started the “TB Oasis Project” aiming to promote and expand the range of its environmental activities with the expertise and assistance of the China Green Foundation and contribute to the prevention of desertification in China.

In the future, Toyota Boshoku (China) and all Toyota Boshoku group subsidiaries in China will continue to carry out such activities, work to make China a little greener, provide green products, and grow harmoniously together with Chinese society.
